  1. Great blog! I loved your Listverse time travelers article. I visited your blog because you played bass with The Runaways. How cool is that?!

    Merry Christmas

  2. What’s happened?? No updates in months?? I have enjoyed your various topics that you delve into. I am hoping you will continue with periodic updates.

  3. Jackie: Your writing has inspired me to do more of my own soul-cleansing writing. I have found it to be therapeutic, I wish the same for you. Thank you for being a hero.

  4. Hi Jackie Fuchs, I have just read your fascinating article ’10 Depraved Secrets of Salvador Dali as I am trying to find out exactly what I am permitted to write about him. I have just written a short account of how I met him in 1962 and how he invited me to dinner and took me round his house in Cadaques. I am about to start writing a whole series of events in my life which I am intending to put in a WordPress blog, if I can understand how to use it! I am hoping you will be able to advise me before I post my story about Dali as I have been warned not to write about his weird sexual exploits with village girls which I heard all about while in Cadaques just before I met him. Consequently when he asked if he could draw/paint me I refused due to my fear of the things I had heard about. I have been warned that if I write about the things I heard about him but did not witness I could be in legal trouble. The fact is I turned him down because of my fear of the things he was reputed to do with the village girls and would like to say what those things were, although hearsay. Any advice would be so gratefully received, or I could send you my 1000 word story if possible. Best wishes Judith

    • I would advise you to consult a lawyer before proceeding. You might also do a little research on your own to see in which jurisdictions, if any, a cause of action for defamation and/or invasion of privacy survives the death of the person. Sorry I can’t advise you further (I am not currently an active member of the bar). Good luck! Sounds fascinating.
